Hi, I’m Zain Amir — a writer, observer, and quiet collector of moments.
I write fiction to explore the things we rarely say out loud, and nonfiction to trace the meaning behind the things we live through. My blog is a space for stories (real and imagined), quiet thoughts, messy emotions, songs that echo in my head, and films that make me feel more alive.
When I’m not writing, you’ll probably find me curled up with a novel — from the rich, layered worlds of Leila S. Chudori to the whimsical heartaches of Cecelia Ahern. I have a soft spot for scary movies — both the terrifyingly good and the delightfully terrible ones. There’s something oddly comforting about being afraid on purpose.
This blog is my personal space — part diary, part storybook, part late-night conversation. Here, I share fiction, essays, and whatever else is growing quietly in the back of my mind. It’s not always perfect, but it’s always honest.
If you’ve ever felt like you don’t quite fit, or you think too much, or you feel too deeply — you’re not alone.
Welcome.
